Everett's First Christmas - Garbers in the Bay

We had a wonderful Christmas, celebrating Everett's first Christmas and Ella's first magical one with family. We partied for weeks, spending time with the Carpenter/Folse family, Vadnais family, and then having Garbers join us for a combined 9 days!

Ella got to play with her Great Grandma Barbi, Nana, Papa, and Uncle Jeff for a week, and then Uncle Jeff for a few more days with Erin. She was constantly busy and loved every minute of having our family in town. Here are a few pictures of holiday cooking projects, legos and dancing (which happened every day), as well as a "sleigh ride" with Uncle Jeff.

We spiced up our annual holiday season trip to San Francisco (that always starts with Irish coffees at the Buena Vista) with a cable car ride-- Ella, Everett, and Jeff's first. We learned Grandma Barbi rode the cable car when going to school in San Francisco as a little girl!

On Christmas Eve we went to Mass at St. Charles and came home to a delicious family dinner. We drank mulled wine and opened gifts, including Ella's first bike from her cycle-loving Uncle Jeff. Pretty special!

This photo sums up the entire shoot. Ha!

When Nana, Papa, and Grandma Barbi drove home, Jeff stayed a few more days, and his girlfriend Erin joined us for a quick visit. Before she arrived, we enjoyed sunny weather, a walk with coffees, and lunch at Sam's in Half Moon Bay. Just about as good as it gets for a relaxed morning at the beach!

And after all of the happy chaos of hosting Christmas and family fun for over a week, we went back to our family of four. Christmas 2015-- great memories!
